Donating appreciated securities is a wonderful way to support The Bishop's School and may provide significant tax benefits to you. Benefits may include:
- A charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value of the donated securities.
- Elimination of the capital gains tax that would ordinarily be due if the appreciated securities had been sold on the open market.
